Richard, I was going to ask about your mother while you were in the hospital but I didn't want to stress you more. I was afraid of what you described. You take such good care of your mother that I know it's hard when you are healing. But remember the oxygen rule. I tell all my friends this who have kids but in your case, it applies just as well. Put the oxygen on your self first so that you are well enough to help your children put on theirs. Doesn't help them if their parent is passed out from oxygen depravation. My point is, take care of yourself first, so that you can in turn take care of your mother. Goodness, it doesn't sound like your brother can do it as well as you.
And as for you, Glen, good for you! I love your sense of humor. I find that patients who have a good sense of humor and positive outlook do better. And will the rest of you stay healthy?
