Use your elected officials. Trying to hold bad cops accountable is not an easy task, doing it in court is going to burn a hole in your soul.

File an informal complaint with the SP. If you can do it informally at the local office they may be more receptive.

A wise old attorney told me to avoid court if you can. His statement that "people aren't here by choice" made an impression.
