Sorry - I should have been clearer:

1. I was thinking about these only for the rear - not fronts

2. Typically, you can only get a 275/40 size tire for a 17" rim. With a shorter side wall, I think these will be easier to fit in the rear.

If you've already made the necessary mods to fit 275/40s in the rear, then this will probably not benefit you as much as those who have not.
