I showed off the Formula Electric car to the EE guys today. I gave them a little drifting show and some full throttle bursts. They were impressed with how fast it was. Then I let them try it and they were like scared in a good way, even though they were scared to give it full throttle. I explained how it turns better/tighter with throttle. They went a little faster and had fun. One guy asked me what I was doing with the brake to get it to drift. I said "Brake?! I hit the throttle!". He was like . I mentioned how in a 911 if you lift you spin so throttle and countersteer are your friend. Same way in karts.
I think they are hooked.
