It's not a Purdy, it's an LC Smith

Yes I rust blued the barrels and trigger guard, and refinished all the furniture re-cut the checkering where it needed it. These had flat, not peaked checkering. It also would not cock when I got it so I had to scare up/ make those parts and get it operate properly.
The case work was done by Doug Turnbull industries, a very respected name in the restoration trade.
