I feel for you.
My grandson can't come to my house because he is deathly allergic to cats and I have four of them. Pets are really just family members, at least that is the way I feel. I wish you luck and hope you can find a good home for them, or a good prescription for benydril for your wife.
I am digging the old folks home idea, i would have never thought of that.
