Yeah Canuck makes a good scenario, when the laws allow an unreasonable penalty to be imposed for an infraction, we should be "whining" about it. Does a normal working stiff have the time to stir up a HST type revolt....and is it reasonable to think he does? I can't help but think that most people think the law doesn't affect them (<40kph) but they may find a scenario that Canuck just outlined well within the possibilities. Do we have to wait until sufficient numbers of soccer moms get their vehicles impounded before this "over the top" law is changed? There is a huge difference between 40kph over on Granville weaving in and out of cars and doing what Canuck outlined ...even if the penalties are close to the same.
