NEVER speed in any kind of lower speed zone on the highway. I don't like people speeding through my town and others don't either. plus, that's where you'll see enforcement.

pass other cars respectfully without endangering anyone. a little wave as you go by can go a long way toward preventing an irate phone call to the authorities.

I suspect this law will last just about until the next provincial election.
I think I know the guy you're talking about as well, met him at a safe and slow driving convention held in the Okanangan this spring......
