The BC governement has announced (without any detail yet) that they will be bringing new legislation around speeding etc. shortly. I expect higher fines and perhaps even more definition around the term "racing". When we have our next election it is almost certain there will be a change to a much more socialist party (NDP) and I doubt we'll get any sympathy from them on raising the limits etc. at all.
