I dismount mine, take 'em in, ask for their "best guy", and insist upon hovering over them while the work is being done. My 25 year old wheels are color matched to my car (Diamond Blue Metallic), and don't have a scratch on them since I polished out the scratches on the lips. One time the "manager" himself took over when the "tire tech" couldn't get one to balance...If I hadn't been standing there, I'm sure it would have been OK (for them, NOT for me
). They "know" I'm serious about them and I've never had an issue.
ps: I just use "regular" tire shops....it isn't rocket surgery...just requires someone who "cares".
