I agree that some of the content (toilet paper) etc is wandering however like any emerging idea its end use application is hardly ever predictable to a pinpoint. I think its the beginning of a great discovery process. If Apple had been in charge of the PR on a concept like this the masses would be quite interested. I myself could care less about some algorithmic program that makes decisions about toilet paper etc but the concept will have very useful applications for many users.

Anyone remember the very first cell phones? that was an idiotic looking device that was cumbersome and unrefined. Today there are very few people who can do without the latest iteration of it.

with all the focus on emerging lighting technology the need to live in a cave in order to see the projected image as demonstrated in the video will rapidly recede. Just imagine if you could set your smartphone device on the table and it projected a keyboard onto the surface or interactive games- this would be feature that would sell, period. Its all about the almighty dollar$$.
