Absolutely agreed.
Remember ICBC had to back down from its plan to remove the safe drivers discounts for those with speeding tickets even though they have not made any claims or had at fault accidents. Their justification was that those with speeding tickets had a higher potential to have accidents. Well there are lots of us with speeding tickets but still have the 10 year safe driving discount. So statistically speaking they are full of s*it.
I'm going to guess that the fines will certainly double and probably triple.
When the NDP get into power I would bet that they are going to introduce a sliding scale to tie into ones taxable income. They are socialists after all.
And for all those morons that argue that this is all about safety ..... they can go f*ck themselves.
