I just could not sleep well knowing that my 2000 Carrera with 39,000 miles on her could just become worthless at any moment, so I pulled the trigger and hired a local European Auto place to do the work. In addition they would replace the RMS and check the clutch. Of course the clutch was 99% spent, so the clutch was also replaced. I asked for the original bearing back, see attached photos of bill and bearing. For all that was done, I don't think the drive out price is too bad. But I have to sell my wife on it......
