"She described him making grunting and growling sounds and having frothy secretions coming from his mouth," the report states.

When King fell over a planter, Kelley went for her cell phone to call for help. She heard a splash and by the time she got to the pool, King was face down in the deep end.
This sequence of events doesn't make sense, particularly the last sentence. Maybe something's missing in the reporting, but for a non-dead person to fall into a pool (splash), and to be face down in the deep end by the time an awake person in the house (who happens to be on a cell phone calling for help) goes over to check on them seems awful quick. I'm no CSI expert, but drowned people sink because their lungs are no longer filled with air. Would be odd for even a struggling/semi-conscious person (still with air in his lungs unless he exhaled fully underwater, which would be an unusual thing to do for a guy known to be a decent swimmer) to sink that fast, no?

Not saying foul play occurred, but if those are the sequence of events as relayed by the GF/fiancee, they don't seem to add up.
