Why the hell do people think we need a day/week/month to recognize them? Just be the best you, you can be and don't look for a pat on the back. The only person you have to measure up to and receive recognition from if that person who watches you brush your hair and teeth.
If we spend as much time simply being a decent person as we do trying to make people feel special the world would be a better place.
I for one am sick to death of this P.C. crap.
