it could be the coil or the CD unit. it could also be the wiring from the dist. but i would do the above, wait, i did that.
the O2 wont make it cut off, but if your circuit is good and working, replace it if it has more than 100k on it.
this would be a good time to go through and check for air leaks, or just have a smoke test done or replace the potential air leaks. then take it and have the fuel pressures checked and the mixture set and drive it for another 30 years.
