Keep us posted, I'm especially interested in the portable A/C. I have a portable ceramic heater that attaches to a propane bottle that has made winter wrenching so much more pleasant, I need a similar product for the summer.

A few ideas from my recent semi-renovation:

-Sears has pretty good deals on the modular track systems, about 1/3 less than the Gladiator Garage Works products which they also sell.
-I bought Gladiator upper cabinets because they were the best fit for my space. There were Craftsman branded ones that were less money, and Harbor Freight also has upper cabinets that are pretty affordable.
-I bought a pre-made Formica countertop at Menards (Home Depot type store) and used it for a workbench. I found a generic steel drawer kit and used it to install drawers under my countertop. The end result is very practical.
-My garage is about 22x22, I have four 8' florescent light fixtures, each has two bulbs. I would consider the lighting adequate but it could easily use one more fixture.
-I bought pre-finished laminate shelving from the same home improvement store and used it for upper shelves. Affordable and clean looking for shelving.
