Lee -- based on the size of the abdomen, it is a female. There are at least 2 breeding seasons every year, so yes it will have many dozens if not hundreds of babies every year. The males roam great distances (as much as 200 yards every day), and the females tend to look for nesting sites. The juveniles and adult males are aggressive and will bite with little or *no* provocation, and inject lots of toxin, which means the wound will be bad. Please kill it, if not for yourself then for the sake of your family and pets.
