Looked on permatune's site, looks like they are selling black ignition boxes. They are smaller as well compared to my permatune. Mine also looks a little larger and is sort of goldish color. If that means anything.

The 6AL2 has a built in rev limiter vs having to buy separate RPM pills (plug in units that limit revs). Summit racing has a rebate for $25. Not sure about Pelican. Looks like the 6AL2 is a little smaller and that may make mounting easier.
