When my wife wanted to have the kitchen renovated with new appliances, I told her why a new kitchen when the house was only 20 years and all the appliances still working!!!!! She replied to me....."Do you realize how much you spent on your 30-year old car? My kitchen renovation would not even come close to your expenses!!!!" So she had the kitchen renovated plus new appliances and we went to Australia for 5 weeks this summer. Remember, I was hiding all the receipts and purchases from her all these years. Wives have good memory. They might pretend to tolerate our hobbies but they keep track of the expenses.
