Actually, the teflon on Titanium is more like the stainless steel on teflon in the Rebel Racing bushings.  The difference is that here it takes a lot more work to install the race and bushing. With the RR product it is just an arbor press for the bushing into the Aluminum housing and some JB weld for the race onto the arm.
I hope the doctor did not use JB weld, anyway...
