One of the machines I use at work is a Mac mini to manage the Apple Xsan used by the digital media group. Nice little machine.
A friend of mine switched from a PC to a Mac mini earlier this year - loves it! If you don't need your PC to be mobile get a mini - otherwise get a MacBook pro lappy.
