Interesting project. Are you going for nearly 100%, or a facsimile/interpretation?
Bruce Canepa and Kevin Jeannette and their businesses come to mind. Dave Klym as well.
Some of my local friends are in the business having restored or refreshed many of the cars in the Drendel collection recently sold at auction. I got to see some of this fine work in progress. Lots of details.
Lots of resources around.
If the car is going to be more toward 100% and driven on a race track, I suggest being very careful with the aero and related components. For example, desirable spring rates are affected by aero. And I think some 962s had special set ups for wheel bearing cooling... et cetera.
