One is a mechanical clock with stop function so you can set it exactly at the same time as the track/rally start clock
The other a mechanical stopwatch with 60 seconds large hand and 60 minutes small hand. (small hand has a piece of paint missing)
Both work well and are adjustable for running speed in case of any incorrect timing.
The set comes with a Blackwell average speed calculating table and a regular Smith Stopwatch for your timing board.
