Well, who's pissy now? You know, if you're selling your house, I guess you're planning to move. If you're planning to move, get on with it.
On the open house thing, most houses look better staged. The buyers don't want to see your stuff or smell your stuff. A garage full of anything, model trains, junk on the floor, guns and ammo (especially that) should all be gone. If you've go 25 motorcycles and a Porsche 911 around, you are distracting the buyers. I can think of many ways you're distracting the buyers, but the list is too long for here.
You shouldn't even be there. Buyers will look at the owner and get ideas. You don't want buyers thinking anything except where they would put this and put that. One piece of missing furniture in the staging will make them think how they would furnish the house.
Sold.
Get yourself and your stuff out of the way.
Or don't have an open house. There's always that PLAN.
