All I'm saying is that if you have an open house, expect the unexpected. I didn't say it was right to post pics of the cars. Probably others took pics and posted them to their friends on FB. If you open your house, it will be exploited.
Living in supposedly the
best neighborhood in the US, we have this home tour every year as described in the article. Why anyone would do this is way beyond me. I've attended and was a docent one year. I've actually seen people taking pics and talking on their phones describing the contents of the homes. It was like why don't we let everyone check out the alarm system as well as see the contents first hand? I've had a couple of garage sales, but NEVER in my garage!
The OP did wrong but he did pretty much what everyone does nowadays. So I didn't think much about it. He'd would have not seen anything at my house. It won't be there when it's time to sell.
Actually, I'd love to see my garage totally empty. It'd be great to start over from scratch.
