Over the last two years I have come to own several long blocks and other various parts in prep for building a motor for my long hood project. Car is to be used for weekend mountain and occasional track events. Mag case 915 trans with 7:31 will be used. Inventory thus far is:
A virgin 1968 L 2.0 long block, with 1R case
A rebuilt 2.2 long block, w 2R case. Pistons and cylinders unknown yet, haven't opened it up.
2.7 crank, rods, heads and cam towers
3.2 oil pump
Weber 40's and various manifolds
First thoughts are to build a 2.4, but I would like to hear some opinions on options, and I know there should several available
