Thank you all for the kind words. It's great having the car back. Once the minor adjustments are done, I don't see it needing anything for quite a while. I purchased the car back in '99 initially just as a fun car and to fulfill a dream. With the values climbing the way they are, I'm now starting to view it as a bit of an investment. Who knows what it's value will be in 2030 when I start thinking about retiring and will likely be wanting something a bit more sedate.

To answer a few questions:
- The color is Oxford Blue (aka Dalmation Blue).

- The AC is original to the car with an updated rotary pump. It works "ok" compared to a modern car. I find it helpful as it does keep the inside cooler. Keep in mind this is a relatively small cabin.

- The roof rack and car seat (eye bolt welded onto parcel shelf with support) make the car much more practical. The roof rack is much better than expected and looks very much period correct.

I was certain someone would call me on the '68 vent windows, '72 bumpers, H4's, '67 dash trim covering, RS steeringwheel and somewhat cheesy MOMO shift nob. While not exactly correct, they are practical and make the car look better IMHO.

Louis - I'd love to go for a drive this weekend if the weather holds out and we keep it local'ish. The carbs still need a bit of tuning (see my "carb bucking" thread) though I hope to get that sorted this week or next. (FYI... the hood badge is new. It's silver and looks much better in real life than in the photo.)
