I've actually had the car for a few months and have 2500mi on it. The delivery photo was just the only one I had saved on this computer. I drive it most days and get to play on country roads on my way to work. I just haven't managed to get it on track yet.
I love the car. As most everyone is saying it needs a little more power. While Subaru has clearly stated that the soon to be released STi variant will remain NA and not see a turbo, I am crossing my fingers that what they do is bump the displacement up to 2.5l and give it another 20-30ft/lb of torque. That's all that it really needs.
Well that, and a proper rear end. I'm expecting the car to change quite a bit once we finish our LSD and get it installed. A
TBD just isn't a good match for the chassis. Otherwise, it's a great chassis. It's light and nimble. It goes where you tell it to go and it can carry quite a bit of speed through the corners, even on the junk "Prius" spec Michelins they deliver it on. I'm not going to track it until I get some proper rubber on it. Then, once HPR starts offering Winter lapping rates, I'll be a Friday half day regular out at our local track.
