long hood moto options
Depends on money, duh. you don't say what year of long hood. If you care to keep period correct size, put a two liter together for a 69 or earlier 2.2 for 70 71, 2.3 for 72 or 73. If you don't care on size correction (I don't by the way) engine size does matter. with the exception that a 66 crank thats counter weighted with good heads cams etc that you can wind it a bunch would be cool. If you have the cw crank how about 95 mm pistons 9.5 JEs and your 40 webbers, 35 or 36 mm heads L cam which is the same as an E for a revy 2.5. SSI and early exhaust. Good for 180 or 190 crank hp or how about a 2.7 with 9.5 pistons 2.7 crank your L cams or bigger same exhaust. now were talking 200 to 220 crank hp. I had similiar bunch of parts as you but no cw crank so chose the above 2.7, now waiting for the finished motor. best Henry
