I own an 87 S4 and though i have had some trouble, (as you will on any used car)i have worked through it and it now performs as my daily driver. I am a master technician however and honestly do not suggest to anyone who was not capable of working on their own car to buy one of these. I guess given the info out there on these cars someone could learn how to do anything on them but most people just do not have the patience. They are expensive to repair but that should be expected! @mikeesik...if you honestly think a esprit, jalpa or testarossa is better you are in for a very big surprise...i have worked on a testarossa and they are unimpressive, and the other two will provide you with a new lesson in auto electrical systems(not that the 928 is any better but why give up one and go to another?).
