first off red light cameras are alive and well in San Diego, and after searching the ca vc (vehicle code ) i can not find the "3 second rule" for stopping. the gentleman that started the thread is just that however, operating a motor vehicle with no clue to the rules of the road is unconscionable. please study up and pay particular attention to right of way rules, btw I am a little sensitive to this as I spend most of my time on a motorcycle and have lost a few friends to those that "failure to yield". rant over carry on
