are the most sought after as they were the issued sniper spoon.
a company is even making the CORRECT retro optics for these.
tabs if ya want somebody qualified to make one into either a real "shooter" or just "correct" with matching parts...........

he's built my winchester(all matching parts) m-1 carbine, my springfield custom shop super duper match, my socom, and my sons m-1a loaded.
secret to any of these:
1) bedded stock(prefers mcmillian f/glass-due to hot/cold-expansion contraction of wood)
2) trigger job
3) hand fitted iron sights.
remember any/all parts for any CMP/DCM match must be USGI or =.
