I bought new sheets for my bed today. They're nice... 100% US grown cotton, 550 thread count with a slight satin finish.
But I just realised something. I'm 47 and that was the first time I've ever bought sheets in my life.
First my mother bought my sheets then my ex wife... My ex walked out leaving the sheets for the bed (and not much else
)
Anyways... It may not seem like a big deal but it is for me. What was I doing all of those years? Maybe is should have been more involved in the details of my life.
(My GF just rolled her eyes. She's reading this over my shoulder)
