Long story shortened, I worked on VW's in HS, then restored/rustified/rebuilt/sold them to pay for college. Once out of school, sold all the VW stuff, got into big HP V8's and drag racing them for 12 years. Got sick, real sick, sold everything, got organ transplant and decided I was going to live, got back into VW's. So now I am drag racing them, rebuilding/restoring/modifing and building dune buggies.
This is on my '59 single cab. Had to convince the wife it was about the VW.
