everything i have regarding which one is best is anecdotal and experience based. i know of no shop that prepares track cars that will install contitech belts unless forced by the car owner.
re: your squeal. yes, or the belt is tired, or the compressor has too much drag. when adjusting your belt, be aware that too tight will destroy bearings.
