Local VW club was invited to a special display at the 2012 International Auto Show in Feb. The display was on the second floor of the Civic Center. This is how they got all of our cars up top.
The Hippie Bus was hand painted by a mother and her 4 kids, a little at a time. The Hippie Bus can be parked next to a '49 split Beetle and it will get so much more attention than anything around it. PO's the Mustang and Camaro guys when it gets special awards at shows and they don't. The inside has angle hair carpet, hanging beads, peace sign interior, purple shag floor carpeting and anything Hippie era. The guy that owns it now just shows it and he gives out peace sign necklaces.
