If it were up to me I'd probably have one for our family car, but my wife said they look too much like a minivan.  They are very well packaged, seriously big inside for their size. I've looked at several but never driven one. As Eric noted you can get more bang for the buck buying one of the other identical but differently branded models. My neighbor has the GMC version and is happy with it.
I had a Lincoln MKT for several days as a rental, I was generally impressed. I would consider an AWD Ecoboost version as a daily driver.
