No to take away from the Chevron praises...............for those with the older cars like myself, my mechanic who cut his teeth on the pre-74 models advised to use "Marvel Mystery Oil" (10ounces every 3-4 tank fulls). Okay, I use Chevron Techron and the best oil I can buy, so now what?

Well, it is true, the more I researched, the better I feel about pouring in this "strawberry syrup" looking stuff and keeping the upper end well lubricated and clean. A fairly long thread ran here awhile back on MMO and I was surprised how many used it and felt some benefit from its use.

Just another suggestion to get more miles, more pleasure and more out of the investment.
