what cam timing spec to use in 3.4 liter with SC cams

I am looking for info on what valve lift at overlap to set to with my SC cam grind in my 3.4 liter 7.5 to1 compression ratio engine. I am doing a top end rebuild and have installed SC cams as part of the performance upgrades.
-------Has anyone messed around with varying the cam timing on the SC cams in the turbo engines and can comment on what they found in regards to engine performance?

I have mildly ported heads and k27S turbo with headers, and switched to SC cams during the rebuild.
Does anyone know what they timed their cams to and what the effect was to the driving characterisitics, ie boost drop off, rpm range of the power band, etc .

I know the spec is a range of 1.4 to 1.7mm lift at overlap but I want to set it a little skewed of the nominal 1.55mm to take advantage of the cam.
I would like to have an effective rpm range of 6400rpm or abouts as I do a few DE days and like the ability to wind it out on long straights.

Any insight appreciated.

Fred
