Progressive was FAR worse in this regard, BTW but afaik they're all starting to do it. I can't imagine any worse insult to injury than being handed a bill after writing the check to cover the deductible when picking up your car after an accident, but there ya go. Ain't corporatism grand?
Im am almost sure AAA is doing the same thing to their clients. If they aren't, I am not sure how they survive in this dog eat dog business. They must, right? anyone with experience on their claim with AAA?
