I have a 3.4L, 7.5:1, with Carrera cams which spec out the same as SC with factory Carrera heads and intake and at 6400 RPM, mines out of wind, big time. Don't remember my cam specs but I believe I was in the middle when I rebuilt the engine. Not sure how much retarding would honestly give for upper hp but it seems like for 6400, 964's are needed. Could be wrong though.... ((shrug shoulders))
I'd add that in MegaSquirt, my fuel table starts to decline at 5200RPM if that helps determining power curves.
