We were at a Cars and Coffee in Irvine a few years ago with the spyder. Foose was there with a couple of his cars (the Hemisfear cars). He looked at the spyder across the parking lot and headed toward it! I'm like HOLY CRAP STEVE CHIP FOOSE IS COMING OVER HERE!!
So Steve says "do NOT miss this picture...."
The wretched camera had a nearly dead battery and I missed all the pics except this one (the hawaiian shirt is Steve, Foose at least is visible/recognizable). Me missing the good shots is a point in our long marriage that shall NEVER be forgotten or go unmentioned in gatherings...
Anyway, Chip Foose is a very nice man. He really liked the car my husband built and was clearly not only the motor head we expect him to be, but quite a Porsche fan as well.
