I think it's because a LOT of women really like their music. I was really surprised when I began hearing the haters come out. NB continues to nail their target audience and crank out huge hits. They're laughing all the way to the bank. Remember Hootie and the Blowfish? They're mostly quietly retired now ( save Rucker who's killing it in Country music ) and playing endless golf. They were hated a bit during their moonshot, too.
