What latitude do you have?

I used to walk the factory floor when I had slack time at the Sikorsky Factory. I learned more getting out in the gear shops, assembly, etc. than I ever did in the fleet.

Look around, find out what they'll let you do.

That and take classes if you can, get your quals.
