I'm sure that will still happen. There are a lot of GS diehards that will buy virtually anything new with a roundel on it. Given the success of the S1000RR, and that of the Multi, I really expected BMW to get on the horsepower bandwagon with this bike. The only thing I'm really impressed with are the Brembo monobloc's, which unfortunately are probably overkill for 125bhp.

i too am underwhelmed and borderline depressed, as i was flirting with the idea of a GS and was hoping that most of the wanna-bees would rapidly dump and deflate the current models in favor of the latest flavor.

hopefully the ignorant will still jump on it. after all, they bought the hum-vee didn't they?
