You guys are killing me with all the teeth gnashing about the HP number, before a word about the active ESA, wet (serviceable) multiplate clutch, better alternator, and of course liquid cooling. I wouldn't miss listening to my bike detonate in super hot weather when stuck in traffic.
IMO of course, the whole GS thing isn't really about big power or light weight or meaningful off road capability, it's about balance of many things. Just like most BMW cars. This bike is a leap ahead in many significant ways and yet it is and looks like a direct descendent of the lineage.
They will sell a zillion of these things.
