Yep. We picked the hottest days to work outside, removing overgrown shrubs, and trimming everything else back to manageable sizes.
The yard hasn't had this badly needed clean-up in decades, according to my neighbor. We're next going to try finishing the exterior repainting next. Our contractor is remodeling our laundry room to incorporate the now-empty furnace closet (HVAC is now in the attic). Fireplace remodeling continues next week. And we're going to meet fellow Pelican Jeff (look 171) this weekend to talk about new cabinets. I hope the misses and I will have an afternoon free to go rent a sailboat. All work and no play....
