I also have a 1995 Range Rover County LWB. Just as you are discovering, fixing/maintaining EAS can get very expensive. As the previous post noted, flipping the switch behind the passenger seat will prevent the vehicle from auto-leveling. In the morning it will be leaning in the direction of the leaking spring.
I poured a lot of money into the maintenance of the EAS system. But the last straw came during an off-roading event. In the middle of a trail the EAS died and the truck lowered down to the bump stops. Can you imagine a 250 mile ride on bump stops? It wasn't pretty.
So partly to save money and partly out of reliability concerns I switched to coils. Atlantic British sells a kit with either OEM or Old Man Emu coils. So does Rovers North.
