Fred, I did mine online with the State of Florida's website [sunbiz.org] - pretty straight forward. It's all about the $ anyway. Like a tollbooth....

Motion's right about remembering to file your annual report. It's usually around $100.00 but if you are late - the fine is $400.00. It used to be pro-rated on how many days you filed late but now it's a flat fee even if 1 hour late.

If you are late - it's more cost effective to let your LLC dissolve and then re-instate it. That only runs around $225.00.
